No matter what your view on the US military is, please remember we are only free because they stand in harms way for us, why not take a few minutes and say thanks. You can go to www.LetsSayThanks.com and send a card to some one serving, it is free and it doesn't ask for your contact info so you get put on a mailing list. Just you name, where you live (city and state) and then you pick a card.

Some of the littlest things in life can mean the world to someone. Take the time and say thanks.

Even with technology on their sides a military related death today is no different than a death in any other war regardless of how long ago or what technology they had at that time, the end result is the same, it isn't any easier.. They are still putting their life on the line for our freedom and in some ways they are a fighting for what is left in this country as our freedom will be taken away if we ignore to much and or take to much for granted.... Freedom isn't free nor is it a walk in the park.. Anthony McCain...

death is death, whether it's in a dark alley or out in the sand in another country.

those serving in the Army are nothing more than pawns on a chessboard. people just fail to realize this very real fact.

if you ask anyone that's serving in the military today.........why are they serving...........100% will say because it's a guaranteed job, it's secure. The government will supply everything food, a roof, and a pay check. The only thing you got to do is do what they say.

I said that they go it easy because they do. With the military under strength right now, the government must do everything in their power to recruit and keep those serving from getting out. So what better than giving a small pay raise, bonus, or a free plane ticket back to CONUS if you are serving overseas.

I got out the military 8yrs ago cause i got feed up with it. however i still do work for the government......why because it's a secure job.

I've been there and done that, got the t-shirt.

I served in the military. My younger brother is currently in the military. Most of my cousins have served or are serving in the military. So I definitely support our troops.
But do you really think they're fighting for our freedoms? Whats more threatening, a man in a cave on the other side of the globe, or a politician with a pen behind a desk?
Yes, the military did defend our freedoms in the past, but I really don't see it that way anymore. Our soldiers are not dying to support our freedoms. They're dying to push a political and global agenda. The government tries to bestow a sense of patriotism among us so we'll have hop on board without questioning why. The military today, is not what is was 40-50 years ago.
If we truly support our troops, we'd BRING THEM HOME!

is it in your backyard or mine?

be careful you just might have a battalion or two come over and kick you out of you home. take all that you have and then leave with no weapons of mass destruction, and not even say sorry.

and people wonder why there is such a financial crisis back in the good ol' US of A.
