Makein your own cricket mealworm gutload

Omnivorous Nov 20, 2008 04:47 PM

When makeing your own cricket/mealworm gutload & bedding do you need to put it through a like coffie grinder to break it up really fine or just break/crush it up some so theres no big chunks or just leave everything whole. Does it even matter?

Currently I am trying a mixture of:

Rolled Oats
Wheat Germ
Flax Seeds
Sesame Seeds
Fish Food/Flakes
Dry Dog or Cat Food (is one better to use than another?)

Anything else I should add?
