I have one of two sides that is very difficult to get started to slide on a plastic track. In fact, I pulled a glued-on door handle thingy right off the glass twice. I tried lubricating the edge of the glass, which is the kind with the plastic in the middle (safety glass?) and it still gets stuck. Should I try to sand the edge, like to re-bevel it? The cutter used a sanding disc to round it off, so it is not exact or perfect. The other side moves great. I did try flipping it over and all that too.

did you cut the glass yourself? was the glass cut with a little "wiggle" room? whenever I have glass cut for sliding doors, I have them sand and polish the edges

I did not cut the glass myself. I had the glass cut. The guy used an electric sanding disc to round the edge off, a very unscientific random looking process that maybe wasn’t very good. The edges are sanded but I certainly wouldn’t call it polished. It’s a little rough, even. I tried sanding it with 220, I think I’ll try some more and maybe shoot for something that resembles polished. It is ridiculously hard to slide on the one side, which I basically have not been using.

Thats odd. When I get my glass back the edges on them look like the edges on glass shelves. Try rounding the bottom edge at least, maybe use a polish on it? if that doesn't work, maybe there is something wrong with the track?
