The one in your picture looks to have alot of brown where normally black would be ?

Is that an normal/greenish brownish or a axanthic?

dlstockton Nov 26, 2008 01:44 PM

hm. looks like its got green in it. If its got green that means its got yellow.... if its got yellow then its cant be a true axanthic.

Camera flashes can be tricky to the eye - so that is probably why it looks like its got green in it to me.

What line did it come from?

Its got a very cool looking pattern.

josephschmidt Nov 26, 2008 08:36 PM

LOL... it doesnt have any green... and i fully understand the genetic make up of what defines an "axanthic" that pic is of him in shed.he is bhb from dbl het breeding.

are you for some reason tying to break my balls??

if youde like to have a bragging contest fun lets rock show your best... heres a small group of some of mine. should we do numbers too?? lol..

dlstockton Nov 28, 2008 10:01 AM

You where saying that my BHB Axanthic looked normal.... I was just returning the favor.... although that particular picture that you posted of yours did appear green.

That looks like a decent collection of hogs there. Sorry though I am not into the 'I am the best' when it comes to my animals. I am smart enough to know that there are plenty of other bigger hog breeders out there that could bust both our balls (BHB, Justin, just name a few) - although aside from the hypo.... my collection is very bit as 'diverse' as yours.

Good luck.

I SAID IT LOOKED NORMAL WITH A COMPLEMENT OF THE PIC. MY BAD FOR MISIDENTIFYING YOUR ANIMAL. I WASNT TRYING TO BE A SMART "blank" OR DO YOU ANY "FAVORS" BY SAYING SO. ARE YOU HONESTLY TELLING ME THAT THE ONE IN YOUR PIC DOESNT LOOK LIKE IT HAS BROWN ON ITS HEAD AND FACE?? I AM NOT DISAGREEING THAT THE IMPARTICULAR PIC I POSTED ISNT VERY FLATERING BUT DUDE SERIOUSLY ITS OBVIOUSLY AXANTHIC.

I NEVER EVER SAID THAT I HAD THE BEST COLLECTION OUT THERE. DID IT SOUND LIKE THATS WHAT I MENT? OR ARE YOU STILL TRYING TO MAKE ME LOOK DUMB OR UNEDUCATED?
I DEFIANTLY AGREE THAT THERE ARE OTHER BIG BREEDERS OUT THERE WITH EQUALY NICE AND BETTER COLLECTIONS. MOST OF THEM ARE SUPER CLOSE FRIENDS OF MINE INCLUDING JUSTIN AND CHAD WHO I SPEAK WITH ALMOST DAILY. YOU HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO CLUE WHAT I HAVE IN MY COLLECTION SO FOR YOU TO CLAIM YOUR COLLECTION IS EVERY BIT AS DIVERSE AS MINE...WELL THATS QUITE A BOLD STATEMENT MY FRIEND. STRAIGHT UP!! AND TRUST ME I DONT NEED ANY KINDA LUCK I HAVE WELL OVER 300 HOGS IN MY COLLECTION FROM GREEN HYPOS TO PINKS,, EXTREME REDS TO BOTH HYPO LINES DOUBLE HETS AND NOT JUST FOR SNOW NOT TO MENTION THE 50 GRAM RED ANACONDA PLUS MANY AWESOME FRIENDS WHO SUPPORT ME TO THE FULLEST. THAT PIC I POSTED IS A VERY VERY SMALL TASTE OF WHATS GOING ON OVER HERE. YOU THINK IDE BUST ALL THE GUNS OUT AT ONCE YEAH RIGHT IM A CHESS PLAYER WITH THIS LOVELY GAME WE ALL PLAY. SO BEFORE THINGS GET OUT OF CONTROL AND WE GET INTO SOME LAME "blank" PISSING CONTEST ABOUT WHOS COLLECTION IS BETTER MY APOLOGIES. IM SURE YOU HAVE A VERY NICE COLLECTION AS WELL. PERHAPS IN THE FUTURE WE CAN DO SOME WORK TOGETHER.
HAPPY HOLIDAYS
JOSEPH

What can I say, Hogs are AWESOME - so that must mean we are both awesome, right lol...

Since youve got very nice hogs, id def say we will do business sometime

No hard feelings Joe, from what I have seen of your collection, it looks to be awesome ....sorry if you thought I was a smart ass, sometimes the internet forum thing can do that to a persons typing I guess LOL..... I am constantly trying to build on my collection....and I am very proud of it, here is a few more shots of some of my favorites:

Next on my list is euro hypo and the anacondas.....

Just so you know, I didnt post those pictures to start a pissing constest, i just wanted to share : )

tom Nov 29, 2008 01:49 AM

god i thought i was on the king snake forum for a minute there!!!! lol

dlstockton Nov 21, 2008 08:39 PM

Nice!

Here is a picture of one of mine:

josephschmidt Nov 22, 2008 01:16 PM

one of your normals??? anyways its a descent pic.

dlstockton Nov 23, 2008 10:08 PM

No - that would be one of my Axanthic female's BHB line.

The picture was took with a Canon XSi - Ive not yet learnt how to use it 100% and the picture has a very shallow depth of field.

But I assure you that the picture is not of a normal hognose.

hogsandpythons Nov 24, 2008 01:09 AM

She's is a beauty!

MOTORHEAD Nov 26, 2008 05:03 PM

Some photos dont show the true colors of some morphs, there is no question that is an Anery for sure, I meet Vin Russov at the NARBC show in Chantilly and had a chance to see his stuff,he has some real sweet hogs to say the least.
