Morph question to the cobra guys.

choppergreg74 Nov 22, 2008 07:37 AM

I do not have that much experience with breeding morphs, and knowing their outcomes. What are some possible out comes if I crossed a banded kaouthia het for sunglow to a Formosa phase kaouthia het for Leucy and sunset?

Also I was wondering if I crossed a Jet black siamensis with a regular or banded black and white siamensis?

To my understanding the sunglow and sunset are different morphs. So your first breeding would produce all normals het for sunglow and possible het for sunset, leucistic

I cannot answer the second

Thank you very much for the explination. Then I guess you would have to breed the babies back to come up with the diffrent morphs.

My other question was if I breed a black phase siamensis to a black and white phase siamensis. Because it is a locality issue would I have a chance of getting some black ones and some black and white ones?

Not an answer, but aren't "sunglow" kaouthia albino suphans?

That is what I understood. But on one of the Kingsnake.com vendors price list it offers banded kaouthia pos. het for sun glow. ???? Then what would a pure albino crossed with a pure sunglow produce? I am confused
