okeeteekid Nov 22, 2008 01:46 PM

today was feeding day so i broke out the camera to take some pics, and i could not believe how much this little 08 fluorecent orange girl has colored up at only 4 months of age, i can't wait till she matures to see how she turns out, just thought i would share her with you.

Sheeeeeeeesh, I know digital cams can make colors pop. But they are super snakes. I have a VERY narrow scope of corns I would want to breed. That one could grown on me to get close to my list.

I don;t even know the genetics. I presume and amel something?

It would be cool to see that with the black rings. But I love the colors.

i do not know the genetics on these guys, but they really do look much brighter in person than in the pics, when i got my first one i could not believe how colorful it was, they are definitely eye candy and the most colorful cornsnake i have ever owned.

From what I remeber of the flourecents they are amels line bred for extreme color saturation and high orange. Probably high quality okeetee stock crossed into very orange amels. The only single gene inheritable that they carry, if i'm remebering correctly, is amel.
