What's their maximum lifespan?

JackAsp Nov 22, 2008 02:03 PM

It's easy to find records on ball pythons, but for some reason not as easy with carpets. Anybody know what the oldest one was?

I'm also curious about the maximum life span. On top of that I have another question. In captivity how long do JCPs live? I know the average says 20-30 years, but ten years is a big difference. Is there a more accurate lifespan?

It would of course depend on their care and such things. Every little thing can play in to how long an animal may live. This makes it extremely difficult to calculate an age. However if you can get records from various places you may be able to come up with an average.
