New Rhino...

LoKii Nov 22, 2008 07:03 PM

So I got my new rhino today from a guy off of craigslist, who bought him about 6 months ago from Glades herps! This guy is awsome looking! I will post pics of him/her after he settles in! Now I am just trying to think of a name for him? Any suggestions? I was kind of thinking of Samson or Goliath? Not sure yet.....

Samson got crushed, and Goliath got his head handed to him... too many iggy/izzy iguanas out there... If you want to got he bruiser route how about gravedigger?

Hmm interesting observation there.....I dunno if Grave Digger will fly...lol.....not exactly kid friendly! I will definitely not going the Iggy/Izzy route. I was think Loki from Norse Mythology? or maybe even Odin? What to do, what to do.......that is the question

I like "crash" but if you're going with mythology it should be "Thor"
imo

Máni would be cool then. Means 'moon' right?

Now Odin is a good choice!

So I have been thinking about a name " the wife says I have been thinking about it to long because its JUST a lizard" Anyways I think I am going to name the little guy Loki. Loki is the god of mischief and chaos in Norse mythology. Suites this little guy well.

With all the Cyclura I have dealt with (so very few in my home) Loki fits each and every one of them the best!

How about fluffy?

Oddly enough, when doing rescue stuff, I always need a name. People have a hard time grasping Ball Python 1, Ball python 2 etc... So Spot, Rover and Fluffy are my favorite go to names.
