cricket breeding question..

the soil i am using for them to lay their eggs in is potting soil but it has them little white dots in it.. will it work??

I think that the white stuff in the potting soil is a perlite like substance. Should be oksy. Just keep it moist. And give them some time to hatch. Especially if you have lower temps. I was just about to give up on mine and a week later I had hundreds of them. Good luck.
