Thanks,

Steve

I would call this sunglow high color as apposed to coral. Others may disagree.

Thanks,

Steve

Steve, Holy bat guano those are smokin boas. You sure do work with some amazing animals. I would love to see you join the nation and do some of that magic with the Aztecs. Again brother you have insane boas and hope you have a productive forth coming season. Andrew

I have a 2007 male jungle salmon het from this pairing waiting for the coral sunglow.

Lipstick sunglow male

Jungle female

The coral sunglow is my 'Rose' of the sunglow world.
If you like her you should see a couple of her siblings as well.

Morgans Boas Nov 24, 2008 07:50 PM

The het parents were :

'00 female from J. Ronne (not a Pastel line) ---

, and an '02 het male from Griff @ LA Snakes (pos dh/Snow) ----

I too also have some snakes from Griff. I have a female albino that that looks like a coral. I think this is b/c she is het snow. I have seen LOTS of albinos that are het/poss het snow who looj coral. Look at your boys head and tell me that does not look like a non albino coral......

Yeah -- Anyone that I know calls my bino a Coral. He didn't have any pink until his 4th-5th shed - just like Corals do. Personally, I think the coral thing just came from Pete breeding into a colorful line -- not necesarrily Pastel, but just colorful, and it just gets passed on.

IMO there is not an actual "Coral Albino" gene. More likely the "coral" trait is related to the red gene(s). I believe the coral trait can be present in normals, just not as visible, gets buried / covered up by darker colors.
