i read that article in the local paper today. as you said "AWFUL". the article is singing the praises of the idea. madagascar literally bleeds its land into the ocean already. read one of the last two issues of nat geo, you will read about the environmental damage palm farms on borneo. (i think it was borneo). very sad indeed.
