Me likey too!!! And about the rate of growth I agree with Sean. It seems to me that the males grow faster then the females.
I buy a female one year then wait another and purchase a male, they will both be ready to breed at the same time!

Thoser are awsome. I want to get some subocs but the slow growing I dealt with last time I tried turned me off a bit.

sean1976 Nov 25, 2008 06:49 PM

The growth rate is highly variable from what I've seen in the three I have currently. The first two I got are relatively slow growing but one is definitely pulling ahead of the other. The third I got however is growing like a weed and has as strong of an apetite as my pits do. I expect the third suboc(one year younger) to catch up in growth to the other two by the time she is two years old.

Sean.

I got a yearling blonde in Anahiem this year which is now about 32" . He's a sporadic feeder though, very active as if hungry but refuses meals on and off. Is this typical of subocs? Thanks.

Bogey22 Nov 26, 2008 10:46 AM

Based on my experiences sporadic eating is very typical.

randywhittington Nov 26, 2008 12:18 PM

I don't have any that I would call trouble feeders but all will skip a meal or two every now and then.
