what exactly is mouth rot and is this something just boas cc get? what are the causes?

Mouth Rot (Ulcerative Stomatitis) is simply an infection that can occur in the mouths of just about any reptile, not just BCC. It can be caused by a number of things: Bacteria, parasites, something that got stuck in the reptiles mouth, poor nutrition, incorrect temps, even some sort of trauma whether it be rubbing or bites from live prey. All in all if you suspect one of your reptiles has mouth rot, nothing beats a good vet.
