The answer to this will also be useful to me as well, I am leaving for 2 weeks over Christmas.

Also if anyone has any tips on feeding before I leave and anything else that can help with information for me being gone for that long.

From my reading, the lizards do not require a specific cycle as long as they have access to what they want when they want.

For example, you leave the lights on 24/7, fine. Be sure however that the animals can escape the light (Burrows) so that they can follow their own likes.

Many experianced keepers with significant collections seem to use a 24/7 light cycle.

To say the use of that is bad for the animals would be from a person who has tried it and failed most likely becuase of the lack of other husbandry needs. It seems the most successful of keepers use 24/7 lights. Not all, but most.

The basking lights in my cages have been on 24/7 for years. I cant even remember how long ago I switched from using timers on them, or using ceramic heat emitters at night. These 3 cages havent had the lights off except to replace bulbs that went bad in them at all.

Keep in mind that I havent used any full spectrum lighting, or UV bulbs in years either, in my experience they have always been a serious waste of money and can do more harm than good if they really do put off UV in amounts anywhere near what they claim (none do, they have always been a product to get you to return for future business to the petstores every few months).
