ITS A FEMALE!!!

mugencrx Nov 29, 2008 07:01 AM

Well I woke this morning to find my 1500gram male pastel locked up with my well over 4000gram female, the one that we thought was most likely a male. I am defintely thrilled that it is a female, and I am hopeful that she will produce a nice clutch. But I am not getting my hope to high. Thanks for everybodys help! -Matt

wow that kind of sucked, lol. I guess sooner or later I will find out for sure, but I have never heard of a male ball python getting almost 6 feet long and weighing over 4500grams. I could be wrong but from what I have seen and heard its a female, later today I will no for sure when I have it probed.

As long as her tail isn't the one on the bottom then it does look like you do have a female. I guess you'll know for sure if she drops eggs.

Good luck!

her tail is on the top. does this means for sure that it is a female?
