Nice snakes! You'll enjoy working with these guys-quite a bit different from or NA hogs in cycling and breeding, but worth the trouble!

Good luck with the tricolors Mike. They are cool to work with and once you get them feeding they do not stop!


Mike: The white bands are truly spectacular! I have a pair of tricolors too -- not quite adults yet though. Any idea what the minimum breeding weight is, what what brumation temps are necessary for tricolors? I'm kinda leaning toward tricolors -- my impression is that they are less prone to "fasting" and have a less defensive personality.

How big is the female? Weight, length ans so on.

Thanks.. I am bad with estimating weight... but, she just produced a clutch of 9 eggs for a friend of mine.. I will dig out my scale and let you know the weight when i have some time.
