What to do with the seniors

I have a BD that I'm guessing is 10-11 years old. To be honest, we thought last year would be his last year. OK, now this year has got to be his last year. He looks so thin, no extra fat in his tail. He doesn't have much of an appetite. He'll eat bugs if I hand feed him and fruits and just a very little greens. He is interested in bugs, but can't quite catch them.

I've taken to syringe feeding him some mushy veggie type food lately just to make him comfortable. Temps/lighting is good. Fecal is clean. What else is there to do when they hit this age?

I remember a decade ago when people were giving beardies a life expectancy of 5-7 years. Well, I have three 5 year olds going strong plus this guy. BD husbandry has come a long way!

Try enticing him with a hornworm or two. They are large, soft-bodied and slow-moving. Perfect for sluggish dragons.
