I would personally like to make my apologies to you. I made a post on to your thread which I thought was just adding a bit of humor onto the forum. However I didn’t get to see you reply since it got pulled. I was informed that it was a bit hurtful (I’m assuming to you). I just wanted to tell you personally that I was joking around and nothing more, and didn’t mean to hurt any feelings.
As for your incubator post, you don’t want a fan to big moving to much air. You want the air to be circulated slowly and evenly around the tubs to keep the temperatures even throughout the incubator.
To big of a fan will cause additional heat which can be a negative. To small of a fan may not move enough air. I can’t tell you exactly what type of fan to use as there’s to many variables that come into play and since every incubator is made/set up differently.
My advice is trial and error. Now is the time to play with your incubator before your eggs come. When I get home I’ll post a pic of my incubator so you can get some ideas.
