T-Rex Calci Sand for HLs

lbwell Sep 08, 2003 04:29 PM

A "salesman" at the local pet store suggested I use T-Rex Calci Sand instead of sandbox sand in my HL cage. Reason being that the HLs lap up sand when snatching the ants and the sand is not good for their digestive tract.
Any comments on this topic would be appreciated. What is the best thing to use on the floor of the cage? By the way, I have 3 CB desert HLs in one cage. All three are about the size of a quarter.

Tks,
lbwell

Hi lbwell
Click the link below and go to the search box. Type in "sand" and you'll get back more info than you can stand!
