Yea Pit those make the best incubators in my opinion I have one similar to it. Its a soda fridge I picked up from one of the carry-outs I deliver to I noticed he had it out back of his store and I inquired about it he said it wouldnt keep anything cool which was fine with me. So I paid him 50 bucks and put a few additions on it now I have a nice one. I added 2 40 watt black bulbs a pc fan and a spyder robotics t-stat.

Heres my second incubator I made the bigger one in the first pic is the one I use now.

wierd last night it would show any of my pics, now they are showing????

here's the rest of the pics i took last night..........
here's a pic with the light on. i'm in the process of redoing the wiring so that i can turn on the light from the outside without having to open the door every time. the light comes in handy when trying to look into the tubs without having to open the door. after redoing the incubator the temp will not go over 90

here's a pic of the rewiring, i'm adding some outlets down at the bottom, and some switches to control the light and fan from the outside. i'm also going to add wheels to the bottom of the incubator to help with the moving when i have to clean and what not.

I dont have room enough for the incubator in my snake room so its in my bedroom. The black lights dont make as much light so its easier to sleep at nights LOL

So, the black lights are the heat source, instead of heat tape or cable?

Oh yes sorry I misundesrtood the question of why black lights. Yes I use those as a heat source because its easier to use 2 small watt lights incase one would burn out the other is still working and if your heat tape or cable goes out while your away your going to be in some big trouble.
