Hilarious feeding actions...

AggieCS_31 Sep 08, 2003 04:50 PM

I was just noticing while feeding Drago today that he has a very unusual feeding habit. He seems to enjoy an appetizer of leg before the main course because he chews on one of the back legs for a good 3-4 minutes before actually taking the whole rat. I'll post pics next time i feed him... It's quite funny actually...just somethin to throw out there. Anyone elses bps have strange habits???

Gretchen's done that couple of times, plus she likes to strike side on. I have to hold the mouse to the side of her face rather than in front of it for some reason, and occasionally she likes to "drown" her mice! (They're f/t tho!)

maybe its teeth got stuck in its leg and tried to back it out, to swallow the mouse whole

Well, I did hear that rat legs are a delicacy in some countries. ;o)

"herman" prefers his mice backwards tail first. Maybe to avoid the after taste (sorry bad joke)
