I recently rescued an adult ball that had been very badly burned. She has recoverd from the burn and had no apparent health problems. Lately it has been cold and I noticed her breathing was very weezy, her mouth is open and her nostrils appered snotty. I raised the temp in her inclosure and she seems to be a little better even after only 1 day. Should I be concerned for my other snakes? Is it contagious?

Yes, it probably is contagous. Unfortunately that is the problem with trying to do a good deed in the snake world. I have had many people try to give me snakes to rehab, there is no wy I'd bring them close to my collection. Everythng needs to be quarantined.

I think you bought a het pied male from me many years ago.

Yes I did and I still have him. I hope to breed him to his new girlfriend next year ( a pied). Thanks for the help. I moved her and hopefully I caught it in time. Ill watch everyone else.
