I agree 100%. The Herp Hobby Shop has been around for almost 18 years in the same town under the same name with the original owner. Now that's dedication to the max and I have to say I'm so very proud of my brother for doing what he does. Being some what familiar with the The Herp Hobby Shop I can tell you it has become an institution in the Tampa, St Pete, Clearwater area. There's multiple generations of reptile enthusiast from many, many different families who have a very positive opinion about the reptile industry simply from Bob and his store being around so long. It doesn't hurt that he sells quality animals plus the food to feed them and all the proper equipment to house them and last but not least the knowledge to keep your beloved reptile thriving for years to come. All in all Bob and his store The Herp Hobby Shop are a credit to the trade and wish there were more of them everywhere. My personal opinion is if there were a reptile store like Bobs in most descent sized cities across America the majority of critical issues facing our industry wouldn't exist. I say this because the majority of those critical issues are based on the ignorance of the powers that be. More retail reptile stores would give us more exposure to the general public and therefore decrease the ignorance that is prevalent among non herpers especially non herpers who have political power. Just my half baked thoughts and not meant to offend anyone. Take care and may your breeding season be fruitful. Andrew
