Just got a DSLR (Canon Rebel) from my brother-in-law, still trying
to figure out how to take good pics. Here are a few I snapped of Mendoza last night indoors.

I have same camera (well the xti version). It's pretty good, you just have to play with lighting and background colors.

Good looking critter and not a bad first crack at taking pix with it. Welcome to the world of DSLR. I think the camera logic goes: the more expensive the camera, the more you need to learn about lighting. FYI, cameras do not need flying lessons or swimming lessons so there's no reason to fling the wretched thing out the window and into the rain when its not taking the pix you expect it to. Believe me, I've strongly considered it at times. I just got my first fancy lens for mine and it came with a learning curve. Argh!! LOL...
