some shed tips needed... >>

My leos going to shed soon. I've got a nice humid hide setup, where hes spending alot of his time. He's eating normal, tho not comin out of the hide much except to eat. Are there any tips u guys could give me? this is my first leos first shed. Thanks for the help.

Everything sounds good to me, just make sure the humid hide stays moist.

Watch for any left over shed, especially on the toes and near the eyes. If you keep his hide misted you should be just fine. Just let your gecko do his thing, and enjoy the show!

The first time I saw my leo shed, it looked like he had a hard time yanking the skin off, and then it looked like he was going to gag on all that skin. But apparently he's more used to it than I am.

I guess just try to resist the temptation to help. It's only when he's done shedding and there are scraps of skin still left on his toes or head that you should step in and do something.
