Hey Jeff,
I got some with sunkissed type head patterns. Who knows what other hets are hiding in that trio I got from you a few years back. A lot of them have the erased checker pattern down the middle like blood hets. Do your lavenders have theat belly pattern?
Just curious, but why the ( ) around mel instead of just ultramel?

The parents are both het Ultra and het Lav. They cannot be het amel or they would be Ultramels. Although there is a possibility that one or both may be Ultramel due the variability in Ultramel phenotypes. As I remember the parents as hatchlings, they looked more like normals. If that is the case than I have an Ultra Lav.
I don't think I had any Ultramels in the clutch, just Ultras, Lavs and normals. A real mixed up bunch. Here is one of the siblings.
