I would venture to guess that there is too much pattern on the snake to be a tri-stripe but it does look like a nice project to prove out -- good luck!!!

thats what I thought until I looked at pictures of the original animal

also it might be like the genetic stripes where there is a differance in broken and none broken stripes

Looks more like an incubation 'tweaking' to me more than a recessive expression, but I could be wrong.. Does make you wonder if the Hets out at TSK show any weird markers just as hets, would think they don't based on how surprised they were that it proved out for them... Something to dink with for sure regardless . Anthony McCain..

Certainly woth proving out! I visited TSK's site and looked at their clutches under "what's hatching". They don't have any het photos posted, but from what I could tell the tri-Stripes have a more regular pattern on the neck and tail ends. Yours looks to just have a little more "normal" and a little less tri-stripe. Congrats on your pick up and GOOD LUCK!
Cheers.

i think you are onto somethings - it just has so many similarities. it might be a het to het thing, but then again it might not; just like the super stripe.

- i'd get the yellowbelly gene mixed in.

John,
after looking at tsk's site, i noticed that they're founding male is NOT completely striped.Tsk's babies are definitely much nicer than the founding male. Looks like a FUN project. good luck with your male.
