SHIPPING - HELP PLEASE!

micky-kennie Sep 08, 2003 05:37 PM

I'm shipping from Ohio to Maryland. What would you guys recomend? I don't want to send usps because I've heard that they hold live animals for 2 days before shipping! I was thinking ups, but they say that they don't accept live animals. I've heard about Delta Dash before, does anyone know about this? Their website said that they accept live reptiles. Is this the best way to go? What would that cost? I really need advice badly, this is my first time shipping and I'm a little nervous! Thanks!

If I were you, I would check around 1st, I use UPS, I'm thinking delta is like 65.00 but I think in Ohio now, you have to have a vet thing showing they are vet checked, before any reptile can enter the state of Ohio, so I don't know about shipping to Ohio now, I know the shows changed in Ohio, if you live there you can set-up but if you are bringing animals in from another state they all have to have a health certificate..
