My neighbor Burt, came over today for a quick avocado. He and my Fox terrier had a few moments together. they actually followed each in circles for about 5 minutes before I had the sense to get the camera.

I have just finished lining my turtle village on the inside with sheets of white plastic. I am going to put babies out and want them to not get away. I will post pix soon. But I think it is a solution to runaways.

Nothing says hello like a little cross-species butt sniffing.

hehehe
In typical dumb/tech fashion, I recorded about 3 minutes of the two circling each other. Round and Round and Round. Periodically, one would stop, turn, go the other direction so it was hard to figure out who was interested in whose butt.

I received a comment in Japanese from a viewer. Fortunately the hiragana was translated. The viewer said that is was interesting.
Burt weighs about 80 lbs, so we have to lure him home. The owners son and I lured with our dog Pepe! The son said that he had never seen Burt move so fast!

That is one smelly tortoise btw.
It came back over for another visit (chow down on my chayote) and left me a ZOO dropping. That was days ago and it still smells over there.
