when to introduce?

When would be a good time to introduce the breeding pair? When each other is on a full stomach, empty stomach, going into shed or after shedding? just wondering when you guys do what you do? thanks.

I feed on Wed, or at least offer food, pair them on Fri and leave them till Mon, if they are locked on Mon wait till Tues. I may make exceptions if I see a low pressure system coming through,as lowes seem to put them in the right mood.
