Hi! I've finaly sold my leopad geckos, and am waiting for the money (I'm going to use it to buy an ambanja panther!) I'm shipping them from Ohio to Maryland. What would you guys recomend? I don't want to send usps because I've heard that they hold live animals for 2 days before shipping! I was thinking ups, but they say that they don't accept live animals. I've heard about Delta Dash before, does anyone know about this? Their website said that they accept live reptiles. Is this the best way to go? What would that cost? I really need advice badly, this is my first time shipping and I'm a little nervous! Thanks!

Hi-

I have used both shipping parties. If you want to ship live animals with UPS you will need to call them and set up an account to ship live animals. It is a contract saying that they will ship the lizards but they are not responsible for the animals if they die in transit. You might also have to show them how you pack and so on. You could also try calling your local UPS store and ask if they will ship it for you with out an account, because it will take a few weeks to get it set up for live animals. Good luck, here is a good article on shipping on shipping chameleons, it should be the same for other lizards! Hope this helps!Shipping
