Quick question -- When I bought my lavender albino retic a month ago I bought her as a female, the person I bought her from said he got her in a trade and didn't want to pop her because she was too young.. Is popping still a feasible method to sex young retics? Is there any warnings as to how you can injure them by trying to do so?

Seeking bigger cages for the family

Popping too young? First thing out of the egg I clean them off and then pop them. The smaller they are the easier it is.

Just like bigpythons said you can sex right as they're out of the egg, I did it to my burms from my spring clutch. The bigger they get the stronger they get and you'll have one hell of a time trying to sex them.
