I was wondering why are there no pics of the het tri-stripe anywhere? Does the het look so different that people would outright know they might by chance have a het in their collection? I mean you dont have to post a pic of it but that would be nice. Because you are so big well known in this business I think the thought may have crossed other peoples minds but were to afraid to say something. I have seen these same people rip someone else apart for not posting pics of a "het" to a new peoduced morph but they wont do that to you. No offense Im not trying to start anything I would just personally like to see a het.

I think they did post a picture of a het and and I remember Dan saying that he didn't see anything that really stood out as a marker.

But, I wouldn't mind seeing more pictures myself.......

Hey guys while your at it why not ask Ralph Davis to show you pics of his Platty Daddy? Or your local banker the combination to his safe. LOL Claude

Ive seen many pics of Ralphs platty daddy. If you look around you can find pics of it, but none of the tri-stripe. Im not like alot of people that come on here without doing some research first. But I do appreciate your humor.

My point is they spent the money and years raising and breeding a project.
Most prove to be nothing. They get lucky enough to get something an now you want the secret ingredients. ( I do too ) But I understand why they don't.
I have looked for the Platty Daddy pics. I would love to see one.
If you could help me out I would really appreciate it. Thanks claude

How about going to Ralph's website, he has tons of pics of the platty daddy on his collection page.

Thanks I figure if he would do some research himself he would have known where to find pics of the platty daddy. And Im glad someone else is seeing things the way I do.

From what I understand it's a recessive trait, so the hets should look like normals. They don't have pics of het clowns, pieds, gen stripes, etc. except in their available section. Why would someone put pics of the hets up if they just look like a normal? Is there a rumor going around that the hets are visual?

No I havent heard a rumor but with all the talk of so called markers on other hets I was just wondering if I could take a look at some pics of the tri stripe hets to see if I can pic up on anything. Like I said in the other thread I noticed some subtle things on het for vpi axanthic, ghosts, and desert ghosts along with the pieds that I think everyone knows. But they arent 100% tell-tale signs. But just wondering
