Spider vs. Pinstripe

Emberball Dec 06, 2008 11:52 AM

I will start off by saying I have both morphs, and that I was probably the last person on Earth to get a Spider. I received a hatchling female Spider and Pinstripe in like 06.

The female Pin ate like a champ for a year, and then stopped for awhile, and the Spider passed her by as far as weight, and actually, when it was all said and done, the Spider weighed 1600 grams and the Pin 900 grams at breeding time last year. The Spider produced some amazing babies for me, the Pin should be ready to go this year.

I love the Pastel crosses for both the Spider and the Pin. I do NOT like the Spider Pin cross all that much, thought it would be much more impressive....The Hypo Spider might be one of my favorite Ghost combos. A good Lemon Blast is hard to beat.

So, I like them both alot, but, if I could only have one, I would choose.........................Spider. What about you?

Dave

If I could only have one I would cheat, spinner for sure, both genes in one animal. And certainly a good looking snake.

I say the spider is by far my favorite morph because so many morphs that are absolutely amazing come from breeding with the spider. I wish I had a dozen spiders

We I am going to have to go with the Spider for sure. I fell in love with the Spider the first time I saw one. Well actually a Bumble Bee and those were the first two morphs we bought. Male Pastel and female Spider in 06. We just got a trio of Pins this year and though they are nice they still take a back seat to the Spider. I am looking forward to making some Kingpins next year though.

Spider crosses from this year. These are from the same clutch.

It all comes down to what you like and want to produce. Your the one that is building your snake collection not us, so make the morphs that you like the best!!!! GOOD LUCK BOB

Spider! Though I am looking for an outstanding Lemon Blast. As of now I have no pins so my choice is personal and without experience. Claude
