Pinky question.....pls help.

We have a 1 1/2 yr old male beardie and my hubby is insistant that we try to give him a pinky one time. do they eat the whole thing or are there bones and stuff left over??? Im still not sure about this. all comments are appreciated.

Well, he should eat the whole thing. Mine do. One time, my male grabbed one, then the female was like standing on the other and he ate that one and had the first one moving in his beard. It was funny.

I personally dont feed my beardies pinkies. They're very fattening so u really only need them for gravid females, or don't give that many. I don't it to them for that reason, and i can't bear to feed a little baby mouse to my lizards, lol.

Some people give them to females after they lay eggs to help them fatten up again. Personally, I have never given my beardies a pinkie. I think it's gross and not a needed nutritional requirement.

ive give them to my beardie as a VERY occasion treat (think he had 2 in past 6 months)

he eats the whole lot, i was expecting to see some blood or half chewed mouse but he ate the whole lot in a couple of seconds with no mess what so ever

Yeah, the first time I fed a pinky mouse, I expected it to burst open and make a big mess in the tank lol

But... no mess, a few chomps and they are gone!

I even have one beardie that chews and chews and still no mess ... well, untill the next day when she poops LOL

my daughter boa. Never want to see or hear it again..
Crickets, I can watch a dragon crunch away on, cause I hate em..
Lil pink baby mice are a whole other story. I'm a wuss. lol
