Hypoerythristic sinloans

Dniles Dec 06, 2008 02:11 PM

Here is a pair of hypo-e sinaloans that my good friend Nathan Wells sent me last week. He certainly downplayed how nice they were. They are a nice orange color on shiny black and bright white.

Male and female pictured and a comparison shot with a holdback Cosala locale sinaloan to show the difference. The Cosala is a bright cherry red. Its hard to capture the difference in a picture (at least for me it is) but this sort of captures it.

FANTASTIC!!! Those Hypo-E animals are smokin', and the Cosala, Sinaloa locality critters are almost too bright to look at. Good stuff, Dave!

Nice pictures Dave. As hard as it is to sometimes show in photos just how different these hatchling hypoerythristics can be, you did a pretty good job in that comparison shot. Sorry I down play them as babies but, like I've said a few times before, give them a year or two and you'll be blown away by their color transformations.
Glad you like them.

Thanks. The pics looked much better on my computer before I uploaded to KS. Not sure why they got grainy after being uploaded.

Is that papa you pictured? That one is smokin!

Talk with you soon,

Dave

Actually that is one of the adult females, the picture was taken a few years ago. She's a granddaughter to the original '97 male.

are they just a touch muted as well?

Kinda hard to see in the pictures...but it looks like there might be a slight difference?

Great looking milks Dave!

Thanks Rusty. Yeah, these pics are kind of crappy. They looked better on my computer before I uploaded them to KS. Anyway, to answer your question, the black bands are pretty dark black and shiny, it mush be the photo.

you should look into posting pics through Photobucket...the quality is MUCH better!

E-mail me with your phone number and I can walk you through it...if you'd like.

Rusty,

Good advice! Nathan told me the same thing a while ago and I tried it once, failed, then gave up! I may take you up on your offer. I'll give it one more try, Nate emailed me step by step instructions - operator error I suppose!

That's a looker. I check out your field herping pics quite a bit, I just need to take the time to log in and comment on them. We've got to get out together this spring!
