Late Season Clutch

CaseyLazik Dec 06, 2008 02:59 PM

My second to the last clutch of the year has just hatched. Although all my ball pythons were cycled at the same time, there was a nine month spread from the first clutch to the last.
It pays to keep running the males with your females. Don't give up. This clutch was laid on October 10th.

This is the result of a Spinner to Pastel breeding. A Spinner Blast, two Lemon Blasts, a Spinner, a Spider, and a normal ball python. Incidentally, my male Spinner fathered 8 clutches this year!

The Spinner Blast.

Thanks for looking.
Happy Holidays!

Hi, I was woundering what type of camera you used taking the photos. I am getting my wife a nice camera for Christmas and like the way those photos came out. THANKS, BOB

Hi Bob. I have a Canon EOS Digital Rebel XSi. There's a lot the camera can do-much more than my photos show! I'm still learning. The good thing is they've come down in price since the first ones appeared early last summer. Thanks.

They will hatch just after the New Year, I guess they will be 2009 babies even though they were bred in 08.

My last clutch was laid 11/24. I just hatched the last Pied clutch and have a clutch of Poss Super Pastels or Bumblebees that will hatch in 5 more days. My earliest clutch hatched I believe in March [Pieds] and last clutch laid after Thanksgiving. What a weird year!!!!!TC
