If mine aren't then yours aren't . These are as pure as ANY Sonoran boas currently found in US collections. I do appreciate you taking the time to from offer your opinion . I know how busy your photoshop work keeps you.

Oh heck, didn't mean to start a row with name calling and all that.. but you go!
.
And even if you don't like my call, I didn't say you were knowingly passing off ersatz Sonora boas or presenting fakes... you are awfully defensive! Anyway, I only remarked that in my opinion (IMO) they aren't 100% Sonora boas. Take it or leave it.. obviously you don't take it! Good on you, a positive attitude will get you far..
.
But in the interest of clarity I'll explain.... Those different-looking boas you posted display a recognizeable set of pattern anomalies. The same ones very regularly seen in Hog island boa crosses and some Salmonboa crosses.. .. However, In my experience with very many known boas of Mexico, in culture and in Mexico I've yet to see one hint of that phase.. The saddle confirmation, count and other pattern tags are just not right.. In my experience and opinion..
.
That's why I posted what I did.. I can only assume you joined in the thread to make a direct comparison of your boas to mine. That's my assessment of the deal..
.
You're a great guy and don't need my approval so I honestly don't understand your defensive attitude.. Anyway, have a super day!

Not defensive in the least just setting the record straight. I'm not sure how you can make an evaluation based on saddle confirmation, count and other pattern tags when looking at a group highly aberrant animals. I know I wouldn't.

Clearly this would lead to skewed results. Using this as a point of validation is obviously un reliable as you know. It's not even a very accurate method when accessing the locality of normally appearing wild type examples in spite of what some "authorities" might try to advocate. Again as you know.

I don't know what you have or have not seen but I do know this group wasn't especially shocking to me. A cool surprise but not astounding. I've seen these types of aberrancy`s , reverse stripping and whatever in pretty much every know boa local. So..........................

Those are incredible Earnie!

One of these days, I hope someone after all these years will sit down and tell me what qualifies someone as an expert, that can take a glance at an animal and know what it is by appearance alone " within its Locality in question. "

Variances in them all and anything else is simply Marketing to some extent and to a greater extent with certain individuals.

I am glad I learned to breath over the years, Woo!

Take Care and you and Gus BOTH have some nice ones, just different.
