Aluminum vs. Electrical

What is better Aluminum Foil Tape Vs. Electrical tape for holding down heat tape on rack systems?

Pros. Cons.???

Any other recommend tapes that may be used?

Easy to apply. Insulates. Easy to remove. Does not melt.

I use packing tape. Works great for me.

niether, i use blue painter's tape, it is cheaper and easier to find then aluminum and it dosn't leave that sticky crap liek elcetrical.

I like aluminum tape. It holds strong, conducts heat, and not to mention, its shiny and purrrdy.
