my water snake is 32inches big dont know the age and im surely not a good estimater.I was just wondering why is my diomand back watersnake marking so light?can i make it any darker to its natural color.

Water snakes can be very variable. Some are lighter, some can be darker. If you got a light one, you should be happy. Lighter ones usually are more prized than the very dark adults you tend to find in the wild. And no, there really is no way to "make it darker." Andy
