Suphan or leucistic?

viandy Dec 07, 2008 09:55 PM

On another forum I look at a person posted a photo
and identified it as a leucistic monocle. I said that maybe the lighting confused me, but isn't that a suphan, here is a leucistic.
(second photo) He replied that they start out with the blue eyes and develop the look he shows with age. It isn't something I will argue about, I know what I have and am confident in judging the pic he posted. Still, I would like another person to take a look and tell me to check my glasses or to wonder what he's up to.
Thanks,
Andy

Thank you for the replies. Since many others have more experience than I do I try to get verification.
I think it's interesting that leucistics can almost always be found for sale, but how often are suphans listed? And I like the suphan very much, too, I think it is a very attractive monocle.
