Nice Thams Dan.

Got a pair of "hypermels" not quite all black, but I like them.

If you breed, let me know when babies are available, I'd like one or two.

Dan,That's a really nice melanistic female Dude!! My female hasn't eaten for awhile,The male continues to eat,I may put them in the cooler soon! The temps are running 60 to 50 range,is that cool enough for wanderings?? Thanks!, Jeff

daneby Dec 08, 2008 10:32 PM

Hey Jeff,
I'm no expert, but I'd bet they need to be cooled down to at least 50f, with 48f being more like it. Thats what I'm going to try in another couple weeks.
I love those super orange & black corns you've been posting BTW!

Later,
Dan

Nice mel. wanderings Dan, very solid. Do you know, are there any other known morphs out there for the wanderings, besides the mel. and "hypermels"?

Scott Felzer used to have an albino, but she passed away. There is a guy working with possible hets out east. I have been looking for odd ones myself....no luck.

here's another shot of her....

daneby Dec 12, 2008 11:46 PM

Wow! Thats a cool looking wandering! Where is she from?

Dan Eby

ssssnakeluver Dec 13, 2008 05:54 PM

she was actually caught about 2 blocks from my house here in Magna, Utah...was at work (animal control officer) and got a call about a snake in the yard....picked her up, was hit with a shovel, pinched some skin by her tail. brought her home and fixed her up and have had her ever since. eats unscented pinkie rats right from the start!!
