Beautiful snakes and I love those Neodesha enclosures!

daneby Dec 08, 2008 09:57 AM

Thank you!

I know, Neodeshas are the best! I sure wish they were still being made

You're welcome. Yes, I too wish Neos were still being made. I have a few large Visions and they are a PAIN to clean! My snakes seem to want to crap under the paper, not on it!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL

daneby Dec 08, 2008 10:37 AM

I'm not a big fan of visons either, I had a bunch of them & sold them off & went with boaphiles. I like them except for how stained they get, other then that they are great cages. Now I use mostly freedom breeders & out of them all (besides neodeshas) I like them the best.

I need to upgrade my enclosures also! Hey, where's that river at in your picture of you holding the Bull? Makes me want to go fishing! LOL

daneby Dec 08, 2008 11:16 AM

Its the Missouri River here in Montana. I try to fish everynow & then, but just end up putting the poll down to go flip some rocks & before I know it I'm an hour away from where I was fishing, lol.

Looks a lot like Texas. I thought you were in Texas.
I like your "just another day at the lake" photos.
What time of the year was that?

What is the toad? I was thinking Spadefoot, but the pupils don't seem quite right.
That last one (Red-Barred looking Garter) isn't from Montana, is it?

The toad is a plains spadefoot, & yes its a MT. garter, we have tons of beautiful common redsideds here.
Here are a few pics of one that just ate a leopard frog.

Love it, thanks for sharing! The pic of the rattlesnake and babies under the outcropping is a terrific image. The scenic shots of habitat are great as well. What is that last snake, some sort of garter? Kinda reminds me of the SF garter.

Nice boa pics as well, those hog isles are stunning, I like how the male and female are so different (nice light female, darker high color male).
Good luck with all your projects!
