Thanks. i would not leave the lid open for all of our snakes. Our Retic would get off of his food source and turn to us. He is one of the few that I can do this with.

That kind of sucks. For a while i quit watching b/c I just sort of got bored with it, but the last few feedings, i don't know, I have just felt like watching. Just appreciating that unique ability that only snakes have. What a wonder they are.

I just check in now. But this last time I had to kill the mouse. I gave him a FT one that was for my hognose. Which he eventually ate. I think larger mice intimitate him. He used to grab them the minute I put them in, now there is waiting, stalking, watching. I may just stay FT from now on..
