Is he a Jamp?

spix14 Dec 08, 2008 08:49 AM

I've heard a couple of people say that my guy here is not a full Jamp. They think he looks like a mix. What do you guys think, and how exactly can you tell? (Other than talking to the breeder and tracking his lineage, which I am unable to do.)

Thanks in advance guys.

looks like one to me in a dark mood color wise and pre shed as well.
reduced neck pattern, silver sides some back pattern connecting and less vibrant orange eyes

scale counts might help if you have a good shed and a good reference paper for this insular race.

He was indeed in a dark mood and about 2 days pre-shed.

I can save his next shed and do a scale count if need be, do you have any idea where I might find what the the proper scale count is for a Jamp?

Thanks for the input guys.
