I just love these things! Not too shabby for a "normal", eh?
50% PtA, 50% PtB (I think the B is winning!)

thanks for looking!

That's just 1 shmoking hot Boa Mark ! I forget the factors that determine Peters "A" and Peters "B" ?
Doesn't it have something to do with the Post ocular stripe?

Thanks Lar,
I was wanting to give you a more definitive answer, but Jim's site is down (onesnakemind.com). He has been working all these years on a couple of lines of Colombian boas brought into the country back in the early 70's. One line, the type A, is IMHO, possibly a BCC, or at least a naturally occuring BBC/BCI intergrade. It's got the huge shovel head, eyelashes, deep/clean maroon tail. The pic I posted isn't the best, but maybe you can get and idea of what i am trying to say from seeing it. She is currently gravid or I'd try to drag her out and get a better picture.
The type B are not quite as BCC looking, but still big and beautiful. They are characteristically red, with "cinnamon" colored saddles as I remember Jim describing them.
Hopefully, Jim is still in the game, and will get his site back up and running. I don't know him, but I think his lines are wonderful!

Thanks Mark . I actually believe that Jim's website may have been the place I read about the "A" - "B" definitions.
There is no doubt that his lines are are all gorgeous, LOL

I see the BCC influence. Nice snake for sure.

The more I see of Jim's lines, the more I like them! That is one smokin' hot boa, love the saturation of color and the big tail saddles. Male or female? Do you have plans for that one?
thanks for sharing!

Thanks April!
Yes, I have two of the 08's that I held back, both females. I have an adult pair (siblings) of the type B and a lone female of the type A. I bred the female type A to the male type B to produce these beauties.
I am (hopefully) producing the holdback 08 females future mates this year!
Thanks again!
