ARS Caging for boas

Shawn_T Dec 08, 2008 03:41 PM

I was wanting to see if anyone had any feedback on ARS cages for boas. I was interested in the ARS-9006 for the females and either the ARS-8514 or ARS 8018 for the males. What are your thoughts on the cages and which would be better for the males, the ARS-8514 or the ARS-8018. Any pros and cons would be greatly appreciated. Oh and pics would be nice also!

Thanks
Shawn

what are ARS CAGES? what is the web site?

They are caging that is very similar to Freedom breeder cages. I just think the ARS caging has some improvements and better features. The website is www.arscaging.com

I have two 9006 racks, They are sweet had them about six months and can't find anything to complain about yet. They are very big almost 15'sqft of floor space. I have some large ladies and they have more than enough room.

Oh Yeah, How could I have left out my fvorite feature no corners! They have a angled off corn that makes for very ease cleaning. I hate digging poo out of corners.

Very nice! Do you keep your males in the ARS-9006 as well? Yeah, they just look easier to clean, get out big females that dont want to cooperate, and most of all they look great. Nice set up!!

I don't house males in the my 9006's, they are reserved for the big girls. I house males in Habitat Systems CB110 racks.

Thanks for the compliment.

ARS Racks are awesome, the only bad thing is that they are hella expensive! they are sturdy, easy to clean, and save a lot of space. Happy herping

I have one full rack, half 7030 and half 8018.

My only complaint was shipping, expensive as I am located some what out of the way. But Brian was great to work with, and helped out a lot. I hope to add another rack in 2010...

Cheers

Great caging....I just bought this rack and absolute think the world of it....

That is a nice set up. What size is the center cages? Are they the 8514 or 8018? What do you think about the 9006? They just seem so user friendly when dealing with large boa females.
Thanks for the pic.
