Peru redtails are among the best redtails..but so far I've yet to see a pure Peru redtail boa (especially and adult) that had the stand-out big red tail of an exceptional Suriname boa.. it's just part of the deal... maybe we'll be able to produce a real Peru boa that at ten feet will have a brilliant blood-red tail? I'm not at all disappointed with how my Peru boas look now.. but this one shows real promise to have an exceptional big red tail..

That one should hold it's color on the tail, but to me the best thing about Peru boas is when they turn Gold. I can only imagine that one all yellowed up with a grest red tail.

very pretty peruvian gus, your lucky you can still take pics of your boas, i live in nj and the high here today was only in the upper 20's, it will be some time before i will be able to take some outdoor pics of my snakes.

Very nice... I think what is, is that peru redtails get the black peppering in there tails and the suris dont get as much.
