I saw this over in the gopher forum and thought it deserved a wider audience. Amazing animals...

These animals are from a small oasis area northeast of El Rosario, Baja. The animals from outside this small popualtion do not compare. The first albino popped up in 1999 dead in the egg. I produced the first live albino in 2002. The area is in the intergrade of Annectans and Bimaris but these animals show more of the bimaris look. The reds and oranges are amazing as you can see and the albinos have very little to no white. Some albinos are completely red and orange with solid yellow heads.
