I just wanted to see what temps other people use to brumate their dragons. Also, how long do you let them brumate? I have used several methods, and it is hard to tell what worked best.
thanks,
Justin

I just let my dragon brumate when she wants to...she is brumating now and has been for a couple weeks. The temp in the cool side of her cage is about 70-75F which is basically room temperature. Last year she didn't come out of brumation till around March, about 4-5 months. Very little weight loss during that time.
Typically 2-4 months is average brumation time, mine stays a bit longer due to my location...as I don't have direct control over the heat (apartment, heat provided but its a big boiler...set for 75F which is too hot for me) I tend to have windows open every time its above 20F outside, otherwise it gets nearly 80F in here. So my dragon tends to stay in brumation for 5 months.
